As set out in sections 25 and 26 of Schedule 2 to the Cayman Islands (Constitution) Orders 1972 to 1993). A person is entitled to be registered as an elector if - (a) on the 31st day of August, 1984 - (i) he was a British subject of the age of eighteen years or over; and (ii) he either had been ordinarily resident in the Islands for a period or periods amounting to at least five years out of the seven years immediately preceding the date of registration and was resident therein at that date, or was domiciled and resident therein at that date; or |
